PositiveSeed.org is proud to announce the next trip we will be doing to raise money for the Ronald McDonald Home!

In years past, our organizations leader has driven a 1948 John Deere tractor from Florida to Michigan. After 6 weeks sleeping on a trailer he pulled behind him, traveling at 10 mph the entire way, he arrived in New Buffalo, Michigan finishing his trek known as “Track The Tractor”.

The following year he attempted 48 states in a 48 ford. That trip was known as “Follow The Ford”. After the trip we hosted a John Michael Montgomery concert where thousands were in attendance.

Since the completion of Follow the Ford, Many supporters have asked “What’s next?” Positive seed is ecstatic to share that Darren will be doing the “Great American Loop” on a pontoon. The Great American loop is 6000 miles on water circumventing the eastern seaboard. Starting in St. Petersburg, FL on June first, He will go south around Florida, up the east coast to New York, thru the locks to the Great Lakes and make a pitstop in Michigan City, Indiana, After an action packed few days and a much needed sleep in his own bed, he will head for Chicago, down the Illinois river to the Mississippi River and continue all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. He will then cross from Mobile, Alabama to Tarpon Springs, Florida and then on to Treasure Island Florida for a final party. A total of moneys raised for the Ronald McDonald Home will be tallied and we will share that number on Facebook live as well as all other social media outlets. We will be raffling off the boat that the loop was completed on that evening. We will be selling merchandise by the Brand “Makin Wake” starting in January and a portion of proceeds will also go to the RMH.

Daily Darren will be interviewing with radio stations, news papers and local tv networks sharing the cause. Darren will also be on a few popular podcast for interviews and to answer questions.

Darren loves to share why he feels led to continue supporting the RMH and would be happy to have that conversation with anyone interested in hearing it.

It costs the RMH roughly $70 per night to house a family whose child is in the hospital. Many families have to travel hours from home and miss work to be with their child in a time of need and that can have money be tight. The RMH so graciously houses and feeds these families and with our help, we can support them in making that impact.

Our goal is $100,000 and with that donation, we will be able to sponsor many nights stay for families at the RMH.
